nature along North Carolina's scenic and historic Cape Fear River.
Cape Fear RV & Canoe Center will work with you to develop the trip that
you have in mind. Let us outfit your business, church, or any group. Trips can be catered to meet your individual needs, whether you are an experienced paddler or a beginner.
Please note that we do not provide transport of equipment or
people. Renters are required to provide their own transportation.

Canoe Trips
Buckhorn Dam Trip
This is a 14 mile trip starting at Buckhorn Dam in Chatham County just off
NC Highway 42. It winds through the majestic bluffs of Raven Rock State Park over historic sites like Lanier Falls and Fishtraps. It finishes up at the Cape Fear RV & Canoe Center boat ramp in Lillington. Overnight camping can be primitive camping at Raven Rock State Park or at a private campground. Arrangements for the private campground for groups or individuals have to be made through Cape Fear RV & Canoe Center.
Lillington to Erwin Trip
This entertaining trip starts at the Cape Fear RV & Canoe Center boat ramp
and runs to Erwin, NC. Paddlers will encounter calm water as well as falls and rapids that will keep you coming back for more. The distance is 8 miles and it takes about 4 to 5 hours.
